Orlando Casaus kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. NYC United's Rigoberto Ceandro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of play forced NYC United's goalkeeper Domingo Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
