Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tincho Palermo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Lazaros Kabantais in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute of the match Los Materos FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Braulio Milian ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Aaron Molina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lazaros Kabantais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lazaros Kabantais made a huge save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tincho Palermo in the 35th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazaros Kabantais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Pierre-Loup Villaume kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tincho Palermo in the 60th minute. Peru were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Los Materos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Emmanuel Reyes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lazaros Kabantais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Larpe. Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Milagros Fraga made a precise shot to the right of Lazaros Kabantais. Los Materos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Los Materos FC's Roman Cielencki got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Antonio Tenorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
