El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Sidnei Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Viana. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Castro in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Floresta Club U18 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Guilherme Viana hit a great ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Castro in the 21st minute of play. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Douglas de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Léo de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Tomé Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Douglas de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Douglas de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 37 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Endrik Edmundo. In the 39th minute Douglas de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Douglas de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Gilmar Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Douglas de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Reis in the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Endrik Edmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta Club U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Endrik Edmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Douglas de Souza put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Douglas de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Douglas de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. Floresta Club U18 made a substitution. Vito Maia replaced Gilmar Castro. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Maia in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Floresta Club U18 were the better team. Floresta Club U18's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
