Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yakut Vecihi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Lei Wei Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakut Vecihi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lei Wei Lin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 minutes Abbotsford FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abbotsford FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Lei Wei Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lei Wei Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakut Vecihi in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbotsford FC's goalkeeper Lei Wei Lin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhou Zhen Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Gayoso kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 38th minute of play forced Abbotsford FC's goalkeeper Lei Wei Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou Zhen Zhen in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lei Wei Lin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lei Wei Lin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lei Wei Lin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lei Wei Lin having to make a save. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Abbotsford FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. With an all-out effort, Peru's Lei Wei Lin threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lei Wei Lin was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Zhou Zhen Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Zhou Zhen Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lei Wei Lin having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Lei Wei Lin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbas Ağayarov in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lei Wei Lin, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lei Wei Lin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pierre Haeberle, made in the 79th minute of the game. After having played for 80 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Pierre Haeberle made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abbotsford FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rafael Gallo sped through Abbotsford FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lei Wei Lin. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abbotsford FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Lei Wei Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Lei Wei Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute of play. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
