In the 20thth minute of the game Magnus Björkqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Björkqvist in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, Onsala Ass Kickers's Johannes Målare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onsala Ass Kickers reached it. But to his dismay, Walter Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Onsala Ass Kickers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
