Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celestino Mattin kicked off to start the match. Freddy Rey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 6 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After having played for 12 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Rey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Freddy Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Freddy Rey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Freddy Rey. The supporters of Universitario Pincharrata booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Rey came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After 36 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Freddy Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 39th minute of the match. Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Universitario Pincharrata's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Universitario Pincharrata's Freddy Rey. Freddy Rey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Pedroso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Rey. Freddy Rey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Freddy Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Rey. Universitario Pincharrata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddy Rey. That made the score 0-15 after 74 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddy Rey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Celestino Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Rey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17. Freddy Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Freddy Rey in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-18. Freddy Rey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Universitario Pincharrata fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
