Kornelius Lynbek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mauritz Bredlund's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauritz Bredlund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Randers A.F.C.'s Per Pasbøl got a free kick in the 24th minute. Per Pasbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kornelius Lynbek. Randers A.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Kornelius Lynbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kornelius Lynbek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Baagland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Gisbert made a precise shot to the right of Kornelius Lynbek. Randers A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Kornelius Lynbek to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Kornelius Lynbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Randers A.F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. At last the ball reached Cristian Sancho at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Randers A.F.C.. 0-8. 71 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Kornelius Lynbek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 78th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hansmorten Wrang to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Ernest Carstengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kornelius Lynbek made a huge save. 93 minutes into the game, Ernest Carstengren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Randers A.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Carstengren to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Randers A.F.C. and deserved their victory. The Randers A.F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
