Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Illan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Gilberto Illart reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Hermengildo Orkatz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. 29 minutes into the match, Candido Tonete dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Illan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Lopez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Illan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Gualterio Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Illart to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Temperley's Gualterio Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Niceto Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Orlando Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Temperley's Kaapo Mastropiero was substituted for Gilberto Illart. After 60 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Silvino. With a little luck, Temperley's Niceto Illan got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Temperley's goalkeeper Niceto Illan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Richie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Richie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Niceto Illan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-3 in the 70 minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Temperley's Kaapo Mastropiero made it 7-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaapo Mastropiero in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Silvino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Kaapo Mastropiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Temperley.
