Adrian Mitev's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Mitev helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Famozo9 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Stoil Simidchiev went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvetomir Gurbalov in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tzvetomir Gurbalov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Famozo9's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tzvetomir Gurbalov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dancho Spasunov in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Edwin 雷坤 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Edwin 雷坤 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Petko Margin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stoil Simidchiev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petko Margin in the 38th minute of play. Stoil Simidchiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikifor Stoimenov in the 46th minute of play. FC Famozo9's Tzvyatko Stanishev was substituted for Petko Margin. FC Famozo9 made a substitution. Miro Pankev replaced Tzvetomir Gurbalov. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Edwin 雷坤 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin 雷坤 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stoil Simidchiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
