Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 20th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zheng Guang Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 34th minute Sidney Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lara Peñaranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute. After 43 minutes, Carl Quinn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beneficiente and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Beneficiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidney Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lara Peñaranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Carneiro got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lara Peñaranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Luís Guilherme Cunha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zheng Guang Ning kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Luís Guilherme Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Beneficiente walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
