Tor Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 13th minute of play. Valentino Ferrant made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mateo Leguizamo immediately put the ball in play. In the 22nd minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Abram Luque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Abram Luque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Josefsson. Nykvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Luque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Matsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. Oliver Bergfeldt made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Salvador's Jorge Magrina. Nykvarn's Dan Blanck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Magrina, made in the 45th minute of the game. Tor Josefsson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Curbelo made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abram Luque immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Tor Josefsson got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jorge Magrina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nykvarn's Oliver Bergfeldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Curbelo, made in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Oliver Bergfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Tor Josefsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Tor Josefsson managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 83 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Tor Josefsson. A hard shot 86 in the game by Moises Fernandino from a close distance when the talented Tor Josefsson managed to make a qualified save. Nykvarn's players were relieved. In the 86th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nykvarn's Jonas Erserman. Nykvarn's Tor Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Nykvarn from getting a goal against them. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Josefsson having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Marco Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nykvarn the free kick. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded El Salvador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nykvarn.
