Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Temperley's Hermengildo Orkatz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Eudoxio was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Eudoxio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Pedro Eudoxio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Temperley players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Richie to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Eudoxio came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Richie in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Eudoxio came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Temperley's Gualterio Lopez was substituted for Gilberto Illart. Temperley made a substitution. Rodolfo Walme replaced Godfredo Sugoi. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Walme came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kaapo Mastropiero was slow to take the kick. During this time Temperley's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Eudoxio came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Eudoxio. Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 79 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Eudoxio. Temperley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Pedro Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pedro Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
