Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Nefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute Vacid Nefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Anthony Bonelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Turgut Talha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matias Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes, Jose Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Turgut Talha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
