Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gigel Horhoianu hit a great ball. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Arósio. Baldomiro Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orçun Yalınalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iulian Pietreanu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Txindoki having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Pietreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Baldomiro Txindoki made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Iulian Pietreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Iulian Pietreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petrică Cândreanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Orçun Yalınalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Orçun Yalınalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baldomiro Txindoki firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Baldomiro Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Iulian Pietreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
