In the 17thth minute of the game Gerónimo Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Molina came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Recai Taykurt was slow to take the kick. During this time Altermundi FC's players had a chance to rest. Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Sergiu Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visen Allu in the 29th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 31st minute of the match. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Candido Piedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, USA's Zach Harrison got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 47 played minutes, Altermundi FC's Recai Taykurt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Day came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altermundi FC reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Altermundi FC defense, Edward Mcdonald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Piedra. The Altermundi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Piedra should have stopped the shot. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 94th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jude Hylton to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. USA had played much better football throughout.
