Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristinel Gheorghiță got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mihnea Martinaș hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Jdeica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Gheorghiță in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 18th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cătălin Jdeica was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. BlueLionesse's Cătălin Jdeica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save BlueLionesse from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cătălin Jdeica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Jdeica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cătălin Jdeica was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cătălin Jdeica made a huge save. Cătălin Jdeica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. Agustín Saelices's late challenge caught a BlueLionesse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Saelices helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Grigore Ciorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. BlueLionesse's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Ciorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cătălin Jdeica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Maxim Văduvescu hit a great ball. Cătălin Jdeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BlueLionesse's Valeriu Iuzbașa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cătălin Jdeica. BlueLionesse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cătălin Jdeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Jdeica. BlueLionesse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Jdeica having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cătălin Jdeica. BlueLionesse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. BlueLionesse's Cătălin Jdeica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Jdeica having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Constantin Baican mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BlueLionesse and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Constantin Baican kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
