Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Leones FC's Pepillo Servin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pepillo Servin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Pepillo Servin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pepillo Servin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pepillo Servin got free with Benito Sanz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casado Arambula was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 13 minutes into the match, Pepillo Servin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Pepillo Servin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pepillo Servin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepillo Servin in the 18th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Pepillo Servin made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Pepillo Servin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pepillo Servin really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Liu Feng Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Oriol Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Oriol Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Arambula in the 62nd minute of play. Leones FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liu Feng Zhen took the corner. The corner ended in Liu Feng Zhen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casado Arambula's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Pepillo Servin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriol Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute You Qi Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Pepillo Servin put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepillo Servin's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Casado Arambula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Casado Arambula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leones FC's You Qi Zhou pulled a muscle in his leg after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Pepillo Servin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz.
