Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nildo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Moises Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Nildo da Silveira. Morrinhos Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nildo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Nildo da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugênio de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Nildo da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play. Nildo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo da Silveira having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nildo da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Toledo in the 46th minute of play. The Morrinhos Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbson Mendes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 57th match minute, Morrinhos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Morrinhos Futebol Clube's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo da Silveira came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st match minute, Morrinhos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Luca Espinar fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Luca Espinar a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Róbson Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. After 82 minutes Morrinhos Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Nildo da Silveira 85 minutes into the match. Humberto Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Humberto Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nildo da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honduras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
