Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cavani in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Eusebio Ecija had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Ecija was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th minute Xande Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Oriche Isazi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.

The wind increased when Xande Cavani made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Xande Cavani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Xande Cavani, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ricardo Zorita was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 56 minutes in the game Sun Yang Yue did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Guaberto Arce. Moises Fernandino was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 58th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Xande Cavani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xande Cavani really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 61 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Cavani came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Xi Feng in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Eusebio Ecija made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Ecija received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebio Ecija slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 68th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Xi Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 71 minutes into the game, Xande Cavani lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. In the 82nd minute, Oriche Isazi made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Oriche Isazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huang Xi Feng in the 90th minute. The corner ended in Huang Xi Feng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita did a great save. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Xande Cavani sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
