Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dalwhinnie Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 minutes, Corné van Gaal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Dalwhinnie Boys and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corné van Gaal to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Moermans having to interfere. Bjorn Kuijpers's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjorn Kuijpers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjorn Kuijpers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas's shot from long distance in the 63rd minute was not bad at all, but The Dalwhinnie Boys's Gerald Moermans knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Gerald Moermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerald Moermans having to make a save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerald Moermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Klaus Bas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerald Moermans having to make a save. After 88 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Chiel Kuis. 89 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Gerald Moermans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
