After 31 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. Supremacy Catania FC's Bilge Kağan Samih got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Bilge Kağan Samih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bai Kun De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. If Bilge Kağan Samih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo Bozzelli kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bai Kun De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's Bilge Kağan Samih sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bilge Kağan Samih scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off.
