Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Serter Sadik came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Gilbert Pusiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Slawomir Peszko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Sadik having to interfere. Gilbert Pusiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Pusiak in the 27th minute of play. Serter Sadik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Serter Sadik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Peszko came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Damian Gurgul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Damian Gurgul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelin Mamani in the 56th minute of the match. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Robert Beniuc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LKS Wisła Szczucin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Pusiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 80th minute. Serter Sadik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Secada went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Gilbert Pusiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, LKS Wisła Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Serter Sadik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after LKS Wisła Szczucin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serter Sadik quite easily take care of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Serter Sadik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
