Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Ebi Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ebi Smolarek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ebi Smolarek was slow to take the kick. During this time RKS Raków Cz-wa's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Zbyszko Wallach managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Raków Cz-wa's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Wallach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Drab in the 22nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, RKS Raków Cz-wa's Ebi Smolarek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Debkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukasz Debkowski was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Lautaro Puig capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Puig really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Damon Hird might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damon Hird ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ebi Smolarek's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ebi Smolarek in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RKS Raków Cz-wa were winning 1-3.

50 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RKS Raków Cz-wa the free kick. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ebi Smolarek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Debkowski having to interfere. In the 57th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RKS Raków Cz-wa made a substitution. Waclaw Kensicki replaced Ebi Smolarek. In the 66th minute, Andreas Schätzle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RKS Raków Cz-wa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when RKS Raków Cz-wa's Waclaw Kensicki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute, Zbyszko Wallach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damon Hird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damon Hird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Waclaw Kensicki rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. When the match was over RKS Raków Cz-wa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
