Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 4th minute of play. Acácio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Lago to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibis Football Club the free kick. In the 9th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ibis Football Club's Hílton Koehler. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Eurico Peixoto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Acácio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Acácio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Eurico Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eurico Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Peixoto in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Ibis Football Club were awarded a corner. Felipe Gaúcho went to the cornerflag to take it. Primitivo Andino tried in the 43rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Julio Vera a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Acácio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eurico Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hílton Koehler hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibis Football Club's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Vasco came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Acácio Vasco stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 67 minute. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Acácio Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Eurico Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Peixoto's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. Eurico Peixoto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Acácio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arotza Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
