Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Lamento Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Batista to maneuver through the defense. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lamento Boliviano's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zsolt Molnár. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Augusto Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algimantas Tarasevičius in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ingvar Vollander was slow to take the kick. During this time Lamento Boliviano's players had a chance to rest. Zsolt Molnár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Zsolt Molnár got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Zsolt Molnár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jos Musseeuw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Jos Musseeuw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zsolt Molnár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Manu Abajas replaced Timoteo Abadie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zsolt Molnár made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algimantas Tarasevičius in the 58th minute of the match. The corner led to Lamento Boliviano's Algimantas Tarasevičius getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zsolt Molnár might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zsolt Molnár ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Batista made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adrio Abeijon however managed to control. After 78 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's Algimantas Tarasevičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christovao Abastas in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Musseeuw in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Lamento Boliviano. Ingvar Vollander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 4-2.
