Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Marzoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyon Brading kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Armin Fulgenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Verbano FC's Armin Fulgenzi. But to his dismay, Armin Fulgenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Marzoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Verbano FC were awarded a corner. Florian Cavallaro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Florian Cavallaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Verbano FC's goalkeeper Attilio Marzoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Verbano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 23 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Attilio Marzoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Verbano FC's goalkeeper Attilio Marzoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Verbano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martyon Brading in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Yu Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Martyon Brading sent off a good shot on target. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martyon Brading made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Verbano FC's Attilio Marzoli got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes Verbano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Martyon Brading received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Attilio Marzoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Attilio Marzoli in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attilio Marzoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Attilio Marzoli in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Attilio Marzoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Attilio Marzoli in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyon Brading in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Verbano FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emilio Lauri hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attilio Marzoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
