Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Zhuang Sheng Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kip Bout, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mátyás Jónás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Mátyás Jónás got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
