Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Garry Dudgeon got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 22 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. 33 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luis Rubio made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abram Luque. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Magrina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
