Ingmar Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wang Cheng. Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dane Friebe came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Dane Friebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gärsnäs BF the free kick. After 31 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederick Griscti in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dane Friebe to maneuver through the defense. Frederick Griscti scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Gärsnäs BF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederick Griscti to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dane Friebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Wang Cheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Jaime Pardo sped through Gärsnäs BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wang Cheng. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Dane Friebe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacobo Nores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 94 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
