Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spase Kastrati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. ✩ Pep Team ✩ were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jiang Nan Song took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of USA's goalie and right to Gustavo Mourato. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Spase Kastrati made a huge save. After 52 minutes ✩ Pep Team ✩'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 57 in the game by Cassius Byrne from a close distance when the talented Spase Kastrati managed to make a qualified save. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s players were relieved. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Gustavo Mourato quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Bradley, made in the 61st minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Sultan-Mehmet Khan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spase Kastrati was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Gustavo Mourato managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Bradley in the 69 minute of the game. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Franck Gamel was substituted for Eurico Dias. In the 89th minute, Sultan-Mehmet Khan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. After 95 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Jenson Smith. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
