Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Lamego kicked off to start the match. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Dei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celestino Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 5th minute of play. Celestino Dei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Gilen in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Dei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Celestino Dei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Dei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the DUGGAN FC defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Dei. The DUGGAN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Dei should have stopped the shot. DUGGAN FC's Celestino Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Celestino Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, DUGGAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Celestino Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Celestino Dei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Lamego in the 56th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Lamego's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DUGGAN FC made a substitution. Epifanio Ruisko replaced Evaristo Gilen. DUGGAN FC's Celestino Dei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save DUGGAN FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, DUGGAN FC's goalkeeper Celestino Dei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The DUGGAN FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when DUGGAN FC's Epifanio Ruisko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Lamego, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Emilio Aimar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DUGGAN FC.
