Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yağızalp Sayyad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Julian Murillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Sayyad having to interfere. Yağızalp Sayyad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute The Conqueror were awarded a corner. 朱辰彬 went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Peru booed when The Conqueror was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celal Erçetin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uğur Akdurmuş might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uğur Akdurmuş ran back to his position shaking his head. Uğur Akdurmuş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The Conqueror's Cenan Şennur was substituted for Armando Demario. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uğur Akdurmuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Conqueror's Arif Egemen Ilgaz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 65 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Uğur Akdurmuş came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yağızalp Sayyad made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save The Conqueror from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Evaristo Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Conqueror's Indrek Kabonen was substituted for Uğur Akdurmuş. Yağızalp Sayyad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 86th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağızalp Sayyad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Indrek Kabonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
