After 59 played minutes Patricio Costa rounded Baadsrv2's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rafael Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rafael Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Baadsrv2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Chuan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Baadsrv2 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
