The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 46th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Ponte came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Yağızalp Sayyad made a huge save. After 63 minutes of play, The Conqueror's Uğur Akdurmuş made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The Conqueror walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
