Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyuboslav Fudulov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Lyuboslav Fudulov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 minutes Victory FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Laureano Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Victory FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyuboslav Fudulov came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Victory FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lyuboslav Fudulov. The Victory FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyuboslav Fudulov should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Boyko Koynov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-1. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyuboslav Fudulov having to interfere. Lyuboslav Fudulov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. Lyuboslav Fudulov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of the match. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov. Lyuboslav Fudulov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lyuboslav Fudulov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. Gervasio Teyo made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 46th minute of the match Milagros Fraga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lyuboslav Fudulov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Victory FC's Leif Håkansson was substituted for Damyan Ostrev. Victory FC's Tzolo Marchovski was substituted for Boyko Koynov. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomislav Batakliev was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tzolo Marchovski came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Lyuboslav Fudulov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gervasio Teyo in the 63 minute of the game. Victory FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Lyuboslav Fudulov, making the score, 1-4. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Kerkenezov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tomislav Batakliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Kerkenezov in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Kerkenezov's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lyuboslav Fudulov. The goal made the score 1-6. Gervasio Teyo got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomislav Batakliev. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rafael Gallo hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Kerkenezov in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Marko Kerkenezov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gervasio Teyo in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The Victory FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
