After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Peter Crouch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 18th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Crouch's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Crouch helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Crouch kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Brookman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Damian Stonehouse took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 37 minutes, Ozzy Acton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ozzy Acton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Egg Chasers FC were winning 0-2.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Peter Crouch sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rex Attenborough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 79 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Brookman came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Damian Stonehouse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Zorita. The goal made the score 0-7. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Joel Groom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Brookman, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Peter Crouch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The El Salvador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Egg Chasers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
