A sloppy throw-in by Xavier Figueroa in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC ICEWIND DALE's Erik Stor. Fernando Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Patryk Ranowiecki sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC ICEWIND DALE were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
