In the 10th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Firman in the 21st minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Peyo in the 23rd minute of play. Saturnino Osorio's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Osorio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of play forced El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's goalkeeper Gaudencio Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaudencio Flor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

55 minutes in the game Ariel Cordaro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arnaldo Firman. Sebastian Villa scored 1-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Flor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Firman struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa. In the 67th minute, Honduras's Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. After 76 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. In the 78th minute, Martin Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Honduras booed when El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes in the game Ariel Cordaro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bruno Afonso. Arnaldo Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Gaudencio Flor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 88 minute of play. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Bruno Afonso with Mariano Selmo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Casimiro Peyo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 96th minute of the match. The El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
