Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Flor. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gaudencio Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Flor. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 12 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa the free kick. In the 12th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Firman came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Peyo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Arnaldo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Gaudencio Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Jaime Cazalla notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Gaudencio Flor. Gaudencio Flor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Arnaldo Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Arnaldo Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Alfonso Amato was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Gaudencio Flor. Gaudencio Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Firman to make the kick off. Francisco Seco had several of the El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Gaudencio Flor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Arnaldo Firman got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Firman came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Gaudencio Flor in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Afonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Seco in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaudencio Flor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Martin Pirmin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Gaudencio Flor in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaudencio Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Maximiliano Escribano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaudencio Flor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute Arnaldo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Gaudencio Flor in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
