After 3 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 7 minutes into the match, Bize Heryer Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Nejat Taykurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Bilge Baykal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bize Heryer Trabzon's Demircan Metiner. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Cosimo Ianni managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 20 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Betonowy in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nejat Taykurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nejat Taykurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Nejat Taykurt. Bize Heryer Trabzon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Bilge Baykal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-2. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Nejat Taykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Bilge Baykal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bize Heryer Trabzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to Bize Heryer Trabzon getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bilge Baykal hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bilge Baykal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilge Baykal in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nejat Taykurt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomas Berganza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilge Baykal in the 62nd minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nejat Taykurt made a huge save. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nejat Taykurt made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 77 minutes of play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nejat Taykurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nejat Taykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilge Baykal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bize Heryer Trabzon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento scored to the left of an out of position Nejat Taykurt, making the score, 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bize Heryer Trabzon.
