La vecchia signora's Gustaf Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Gustaf Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominguez Codony got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dominguez Codony scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Skräddare. La vecchia signora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 26th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Dominguez Codony recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Dominguez Codony showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La vecchia signora's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Åström in the 36th minute. Gustaf Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaf Skräddare in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, La vecchia signora's Samuel Åström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 46 played minutes, La vecchia signora's Eldad Te Vrede shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La vecchia signora reached it. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominguez Codony to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La vecchia signora booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Andberg's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Gustaf Skräddare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Han Solo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustaf Skräddare. Gustaf Skräddare yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute La vecchia signora were awarded a corner. Samuel Åström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led La vecchia signora's Samuel Åström to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Han Solo scored 3-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gustaf Skräddare in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaf Skräddare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 84 minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gustaf Skräddare firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. La vecchia signora's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La vecchia signora's Gustaf Skräddare did a great save. Ernst Andberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in La vecchia signora's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Skräddare came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
