Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Stennäs FF got a freekick which was hit by Charles Bergqvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of play forced Stennäs FF's goalkeeper Olov Strand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Strand. Olov Strand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Strand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Per-Åke Pålsson from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 24 minutes into the match, Stennäs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Olov Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stennäs FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stennäs FF's Örjan Levander got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Olov Strand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 35th match minute, Stennäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Bergström to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Olov Strand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olov Strand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Lingren in the 50th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Antonio Arias suffered a concussion after 51 minutes and had to leave the field. Henning Lingren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Stennäs FF's Olov Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Stennäs FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Olov Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Björklund hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stennäs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stennäs FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olov Strand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olov Strand. That made the score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Henning Lingren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Strand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
