The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Majkowski came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Majkowski in the 35th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Magnus Brummer. Karl-Magnus Brummer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jaroslaw Majkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. The Dynamo Strandnäs fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Dynamo Strandnäs's Jaroslaw Majkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Jaroslaw Majkowski made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Brummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Magnus Brummer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Nikolai Springby made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Dynamo Strandnäs's Aaron Frisk suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 67 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Strandnäs the free kick. Dynamo Strandnäs made a substitution. Patrik Nord replaced Aaron Frisk. After 68 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Jaroslaw Majkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaroslaw Majkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After 74 minutes of play, Dynamo Strandnäs's Casper Johnsson made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. After 84th play minutes Casper Johnsson shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Lautaro Navarro and just under the crossbar into goal. After 90 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Dynamo Strandnäs's Karl-Magnus Brummer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Casper Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Casper Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
