Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Alican Sungurbay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Okan Akdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 5th minute of play. Alican Sungurbay took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alican Sungurbay in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Okan Akdoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save ESKİŞEHİRSPOR from getting a goal against them. Raik Özdener scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Okan Akdoğan got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Alican Sungurbay put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raik Özdener kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Okan Akdoğan came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A hard shot 44 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Okan Akdoğan managed to make a qualified save. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's players were relieved.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zafer Oncel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Okan Akdoğan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alican Sungurbay came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okan Akdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Kevin Carballal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alican Sungurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the ESKİŞEHİRSPOR defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okan Akdoğan. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okan Akdoğan should have stopped the shot. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okan Akdoğan saved ESKİŞEHİRSPOR from getting behind. In the 87thth minute of the game Alican Sungurbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zafer Oncel kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Okan Akdoğan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Alican Sungurbay made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Alican Sungurbay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Uruguay. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESKİŞEHİRSPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
