Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ibon Toraño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arixo Aponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibon Toraño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Porquera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Real Marabino were awarded a corner. Arixo Aponte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Real Marabino's Kinsen Aguinagalde getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Blas Arrazola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Marabino and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Real Marabino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Arrazola to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babe Ruth hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ibon Toraño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kinsen Aguinagalde kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Bobby Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Babe Ruth during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Babe Ruth got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bobby Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibon Toraño having to interfere. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gumaro Mirafuentes hit a great ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibon Toraño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mambru Fontoya hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ibon Toraño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Marabino's Ibon Toraño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Real Marabino from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gero Santos hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ibon Toraño having to make a save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibon Toraño was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
