Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) İlyas Tolga Yetişbey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind SBİ HERCULES 42's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Mecit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Sedat Mecit having to make a save. Hüseyin Cahit Algın charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüseyin Cahit Algın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hüseyin Cahit Algın hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. İlyas Tolga İlbeyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Hüseyin Cahit Algın took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 15th minute of play forced SBİ HERCULES 42's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Mecit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Mecit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Rüstem Apaydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Sedat Mecit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SBİ HERCULES 42's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Noboa 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Cahit Algın came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhan Tankoç during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlyas Tolga Yetişbey in the 53rd minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Sedat Mecit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Tolga Yetişbey came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute İlyas Tolga Yetişbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Algın in the 68th minute of play. Hüseyin Cahit Algın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when SBİ HERCULES 42 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlyas Tolga İlbeyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Serhan İbrahimoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, SBİ HERCULES 42's İlyas Tolga Yetişbey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 85 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SBİ HERCULES 42 the free kick. The SBİ HERCULES 42 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SBİ HERCULES 42 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
