Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) EK's Denimir Bebin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play. Denimir Bebin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Denimir Bebin to make any attempt to save it. Yancho Traychev scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes of play, EK's Vladislav Dzhalev made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Denimir Bebin made a huge save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Denimir Bebin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denimir Bebin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Fernandez in the 31st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, EK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlbey Denizalp to maneuver through the defense. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced EK's goalkeeper Denimir Bebin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Dzhalev in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, İlbey Denizalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. İlbey Denizalp kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladislav Dzhalev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlbey Denizalp in the 52nd minute of play. Cido Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Denimir Bebin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EK's goalkeeper Denimir Bebin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes EK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, EK's Cido Fernandez got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Vladislav Dzhalev came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the EK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladislav Dzhalev couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Cido Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Denimir Bebin came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind EK's goalkeeper Denimir Bebin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denimir Bebin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denimir Bebin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denimir Bebin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while EK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
