Cícero de Andrade started the match with the kick off. 17 minutes into the game, Jonathan Alphonse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skyrim the free kick. The supporters of Skyrim booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Alphonse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Andrade in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Rony Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Skyrim's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Angelo Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Vieira made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jonathan Alphonse sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Alphonse who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rony Mangueira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Correia came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Cearense in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Waldir Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldir Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Luiz Paulo Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skyrim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jonathan Alphonse made the kick off in the second half. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jacinto Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Skyrim getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jacinto Leão hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero de Andrade. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Skyrim's Cícero de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernso Constant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Vieira having to interfere. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jean Claude Ulysse hit a great ball. Noel Seide was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Serafim Velasco. Cícero de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Cícero de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cícero de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero de Andrade in the 88th minute. Philippe Ambroise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Haiti's attentive Ernso Constant managed to snatch the ball when Tarcisio Falcão made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Haiti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Skyrim's performance. The match ended with a win for Skyrim.
