Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bonggo Bawono made the kick off and thus started the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Brunov having to make a save. When Pasha Jayusman came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Madrid City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pasha Jayusman couldn't finish the play. Madrid City FC's Alex Brunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Madrid City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alex Brunov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Bonggo Bawono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Bonggo Bawono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonggo Bawono came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Madrid City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corrado Zinni in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Madrid City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Alex Brunov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. In the 30th minute Bonggo Bawono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Corrado Zinni was slow to take the kick. During this time Madrid City FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Madrid City FC's Pasha Jayusman to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pasha Jayusman let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 34th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 38thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madrid City FC's Alex Brunov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madrid City FC's Dániel Soós. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonggo Bawono in the 53rd minute of play. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Bonggo Bawono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Madrid City FC were awarded a corner. Corrado Zinni went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Corrado Zinni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonggo Bawono, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bonggo Bawono came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Madrid City FC's keeper Alex Brunov was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 72nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alex Brunov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Madrid City FC's goalkeeper Alex Brunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Madrid City FC's Bonggo Bawono made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bonggo Bawono came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonggo Bawono struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrid City FC. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonggo Bawono in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Madrid City FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
