El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VERDOLAGA CITY FC the free kick. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Barbaros Bozbey could save by the left post. Oriche Isazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriche Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Cavani in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Eusebio Ecija succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The audience was convinced that Xande Cavani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriche Isazi in the 24th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Arce in the 38th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oriche Isazi's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a little luck, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barbaros Bozbey was a little too slow when Abram Luque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-3. 47 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Isazi came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Huang Xi Feng came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huang Xi Feng couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Oriche Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xande Cavani took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 76th minute of the match, Xande Cavani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Oriche Isazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oriche Isazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. After 82 minutes El Salvador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Huang Xi Feng who took care of the corner kick. Valentino Ferrant's late challenge caught a VERDOLAGA CITY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentino Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Xande Cavani rounded El Salvador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-8. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Ecija in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Oriche Isazi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
